Seasonal Camper

August 26, 2022

Terrible just terrible! We have been a seasonal camper for several years. Since adventure bound bought 2 years ago this place has gone down hill FAST! Managers can careless about anything going on and the head maintenance guy left that had been here for nearly a decade. Nothing now is maintained, grass is never mowed which causes terrible bugs and overgrowth at the pond. 4th of July weekend they closed the beach in the middle of the day and since has done so numerous times. They allow dogs to run around the campground without leashes which causes a huge concern for children playing at the playground. Camp store is never open, emergency calls are never answered. The Manager is rude as heck and usually has a smirk on her face. So many seasonal campers that have been here for decades are selling. Don’t even bother calling corporate to complain, they are just as bad.

Absolutely amazing here. They are open year round with monthly rates. The price isn’t too bad, definitely worth the money. There is a lake that you can walk almost all the way around. The lots for RV’s are decently sized. Its full hookup as well. It’s quiet and peaceful. The laundry room and the bathrooms at the main office are clean and well taken care of. The customer service is spot on. At the office there are things you can buy. I stayed here for about 5 months into the winter. During the summer there are many activities. Dogs are allowed. If I’m ever in the area again, I will definitely be staying here. Truly amazing.

I will try and sum this story up. Driving here was a great trip. Beautiful location, very promising environment for our family and friends. We had been there for around 4 hours and were instructed where to park in the group location when we first arrived. The manager of this facility came down to the area barking orders of where we all needed to move. There is a way to speak to people and yelling is not it, especially for no reason. We have a 43’ camper with 3 slides so you can imagine having to pack up our stuff and moving our camper into its “proper” location. Had we been advised prior to parking on where we should’ve been parked we could’ve possibly avoided this terrible interaction. The manager continued to talk down to us and others in a manner that I would’ve never expected from someone that’s job is to make sure that their customer service is intact. I have never seen someone in that position treat people so poorly. This poor interaction not only ruined the weekend for us and 5 other campers but this campground has now lost out on 3 permanent spots that myself and 2 others were going to purchase. The whole purpose of traveling there was to have fun, escape our normal daily grind and check out the property and choose the location we wanted for a permanent space. The manager ruined that and lost out on a lot of money for this company. We will never return to any of their locations and will never recommend anyone to go there. Customer service goes a long way and treating people with the respect they deserve is a must! This facility lacks the proper management.

Awesome place for a quick getaway. Many kid friendly activities. Golf cart rentals are very pricey compared to most places. Great camp store with a Hunt Bros pizza shop on site. Very clean showers

Great campground, the campsites are not large but I have been to places with smaller sites. The sites are gravel no concrete pad. The roadway is also gravel. The water features are awesome. The campground was clean and well maintained. I will definitely visit again.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin. Overall site was nice, had what we needed. Grill was a bit worse for wear but worked. Full bath was clean and had hot water with decent pressure. Beds were super firm, and quite uncomfortable for this gen X aged lady! None of us slept very well, even the kids complained. Kids enjoyed the inflatables and fishing and we all enjoyed the beach. We stayed during off days so it was quiet. Lots of permanent camp sites set up, whole place seemed well kept overall. Workers at the store seemed nice, beach attendants didn't seem too concerned with much. Overall a decent stay but probably won't be back unless we bring our own camper with comfy beds!
