A clean, tidy KOA, a great base camp for exploring the area. The folks working there are so friendly and pleasant. The pool was just being resurfaced and filled with water when we were there, I’m sure it will be a great place for families this summer. I loved the free coffee every morning and the store there is filled with cute stuff. They are also very knowledgeable about the area. Would stay there again if we’re ever back in the area.

Our first and Fave KOA! Clear instructions on where to park for registration. We had a friendly escort all the way to our site, he helped guide us in to the very spacious site. Meanwhile, another KOA member was shining up and cleaning the gas grill for us. We were so excited to see the swing and the nice table and even a fire pit. This KOA feels like an oasis from the city. We are enjoying the views of the mountains outside of our window of our RV. We love this KOA.

Probably the nicest KOA we've stayed in. Large sites and very well kept. Easy access to White Sands, just 17 miles away. The staff was very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again

This is a great location for visiting White Sands and Lincoln National Forest. The bathrooms and showers are clean. There is coffee and hot water for tea in the mornings. They have SLEDS to BORROW for White Sands (saves you $18 a sled and $3 for wax at the National park). There is plenty of water around and a special drinking water refill location. Dogs are welcome. The pool is currently closed, I don’t know when it opens. There are trees in the tent sites which makes a huge difference in the heat. Everyone is super nice. Our main negative is the noise at night. It’s a noisy little campground. And the tent camping sites are all gravel so make sure you have plenty of padding to sleep on. Also the electric outlet at the campsite is a little small so I wasn’t able to charge my camera battery. Maybe bring an extension cord.

We stayed two nights. The site was a little tight, but we managed. The park was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. We noticed at night that none of the site lamps worked, so it was pretty dark. We left our awning light on. It was concerning because of a potential liability for the park. We had our door open and our dog saw a person waking around. She barked. I went to see what she was barking at and a person said he was "just patrolling the park." I didn't say anything, just closed the door and locked it." Legit? I like to think so. But I do hope they get their lighting fixed. The bathrooms and showers were large and clean. It has a nice little dog run, and old school playground; when playgrounds were fun (and not plastic). We would visit again.
