Nice, very quiet little park right in town. Has full hook ups but the sewer connections for two sites are next to each other. This means the person in one site will be able to hook as usual but the other will have to run his “slinky” hose beneath his camper to use the connection. Also the sewer connections in the pull through sites are near the front of the site—this doesn’t work well if your RV, like ours, has the dumping connection near the back of the camper. We ended up buying a 60 foot garden hose at the Tractor Supply in Americus to dump our gray water. Dumped sewage on the way out—pulled forward and used the slinky hose. (Tractor Supply also sells propane by the gallon with no tank exchange. Just take your tank. The many historical sites in Sumter County were amazing! In addition to the National PIW Museum in Andersonville the Jimmy Carter National Historical areas in Plains were enjoyable and *do not* miss the Rural GA Telephone Museum in Leslie. Overall I’d recommend this campground because it’s quiet, centrally located, and inexpensive. No playground or other activities. Lots of critters visited—chickens and a huge gobbling Turkey as well as four friendly cats.

Old, when I was there, there were fallen apples everywhere. Really messy. Attractive lot of bees. Has concrete pads that weren't level. On the good side. Great price 22.50 with senior discount. Very close to the Historic Site.

I stayed here for one night while in Americus for school. I have to say that Kay the park hostess was a blessing. So grateful for the southern hospitality and kindness. Would definitely recommend a stay here while visiting this lovely historical town. I plan to come back and visit again with my family.

Quaint Quiet and water sewer and electric hookups well maintained the spaces are way to close ,that would be my only negative comment. The people in the shops were super nice. General store and antique shop and rv campground hosts were very polite. We will be back in a month. If you come and visit spend alittle money the town appreciate s it.
