Perfect place to stay at that's near Beaver Lake! We stayed for 3 nights at site 22. Its the closest one to the lake, has availability for extension cord, which was essential for charging things. The cool breeze off the lake at night definitely cooled us down. The showers were well maintained and clean. The toilets are what is to be expected, so I recommend taking wipes for the seat. The view is amazing and there's a place for swimming and fishing. The deer were in the campgrounds every single day/night!

Getting to the campground without a GPS would be difficult. Lack of signs coming from Rogers is an issue. Once there , at 8:30pm we drove around inside the campground trying to figure out how to get to the sites. Putting up a sign indicating sites 1 -8 with a turn arrow would be a big help. Sites 1-8 are full hookups. That was not listed on Recreation.gov so it was a nice surprise. Site 1 is practically in the road. You can't even put your awning out. That particular site is not level. I knew there was a reason it was the only open site last minute but still expected more. It is my least favorite Corp of Engineers campground.

Friendly park rangers and clean camp ground. Boat ramp area is very steep and no boat trailer parking near ramp. Most of the roads in the camp ground are steep as well. We stayed here due to being one of the last camp sites available at that time on the lake.

Beautiful campgrounds BUT... Some of the sites are very difficult to get level enough to set up camp. If those sites were to have a little maintenance done on them to improve the pad it would be most helpful. Also, it's 2020 and nobody should have to poo in a hole in the ground! lol All in all I would (and will) go back but will be picking a different site and bringing my camp toilet with me.
