I really enjoyed my time here today. The hike was beautiful, but not too much of a workout to have done 6 miles by the end and still feel great! The trails are clearly labeled so you can’t get lost, which is nice! Bring bug spray and sunglasses as there were a lot of bugs out today. I would definitely recommend this if you’re in the area looking for a nice day of exploring nature.

Did a nice 10K hike on red trail to Pakim Bond. Trail was well maintained and even accessible to strollers or wheelchair. No ticks in January just lots of fresh crisp air. Pakim pond was iced over.

Quiet (except for Enduro weekend) semi remote campground. No hookups. A pond not big enough for water activities. No amenities. Just a quiet place to camp in the Pine Barrens. The office staff are helpful and have a modest camp store with all the essentials. Dump station.

Pretty cool place. Very empty this time of year. Be sure to take precautions against ticks, I found two on me after I got home.

Vegetation is mostly pine trees. The bogs had water lilies.
