Good place! We had a nice site 26 backed up to the woods. Red hook is a sweet town nearby we ate out there Quiet peaceful clean. Good for families

A really uncomfortable experience. We were new to the area and stayed here so we could visit friends in the area. Our local friends came to pick us up in the morning (not to visit!) and were chased down and harassed by the owner. Later, a friend dropped me off (not to visit!) and waited for me in Visitor Parking while I unhooked my RV. Another owner approached my friend and asked why he was waiting for me - in the Visitor Parking! My friend was interrogated and made to feel like a trespasser when he was behaving very normal by politely waiting in the designated Visitor Parking spot - he did not even get out of his truck! Do not stay here if your intention is to explore the surrounding area with friends. Your friends will not even be able to step foot on the property to pick you up and take you out for breakfast. Really weird owners, why run a campground if you are afraid of people?

Awesome campground. Sites are large, owners are great. We will be back
