It’s always beautiful to visit shaver lake and camp Edison is place I always love to go! The lake is really low and there is still snow. Nature looks specially beautiful cover in white with snow

Really like Camp Edison! We've only winter camped. But i'm sure it's nice year round, and I like that you can winter camp. Great. Sledding around the lake, and China peak is only 19 miles away.

We ended up staying one night here on Veteran's Day weekend. The weather was gorgeous! During non-peak season most of the campground is closed so we were able to hike all over without seeing many people. The water in the lake is a little low but still really nice. The campground is very well maintained and clean. We were very impressed. On top of that we even had full 5g Verizon service. Sad part is that a lot of the area outside the park burned during the Creek Fire but they are recovering. Will definitely be back!
