Stayed here last summer driving Cabot trail for the first time. My kid and I loved it, great campground, and my kid loved the playground. Was a beautiful spot, and quiet. Can't wait to go back next year.

Very clean facilities and dish washing stations. Some of the sites offer much more privacy than others. All in all, a good place to camp.

Great place. The camping has many trees which allows for well deserved shadows during sunny days. Water and washroom are easily accessible. There is also a superb river accessible by walk to refresh yourself. The water in the river comes from two stream, one cold and one hot. Swimmers should go 15 feet into the river to access to hotter stream

Campsites are far too open, not many trees and the number of spots are crammed in next to each other. Spot 37 has to be the worst, it’s the only camp site in the park with a cement picnic table that can’t be moved and it’s 15 feet or more away from the fire pit. The picnic table is also just a foot or two from the road so as you’re eating all the dust is going in your food as people drive by. We asked for a picnic table or to use the one next to us and were told we couldn’t and they didn’t have any. The photos online are misleading to show the spots as being private. Firewood is expensive, buy it before you enter the park as it’s $8 for a small bundle. Battery Campground was twice the size of wood for $5. We ended up packing everything up and getting an Airbnb because this camp ground was so bad. On our way out we see there were 4-6 picnic tables just sitting there stacked unused. They need to get rid of that cement picnic table in 37 and replace it. If you’re looking for a private nice campground this isn’t it.
