Nice quiet non motor lake with a sand beach.

Always love it here. Shady and picturesque with most sites having good waterfront access. Always busy and was not able to get a spot.

A "buggy" area, but it is so gorgeous here. Beware of the VERY rough slow paced road on the 5 mile drive in.

This is a very tame Campground it's secluded yet kind of bare the campsites are right next to each other so there's not much privacy if it's packed. Be sure to bring a flashlight bug spray and wood. Most of the campsites can fit very very large campers... also have tents only spots. I think it's honestly a little pricey but it's well-maintained the outhouses are very clean for being out houses, also there is water and power so you can't go wrong I guess... There's an awesome hiking trail that hikes all the way around the lake it is quite the hike so be prepared water, bug spray.. tons of bug spray the halfway point there is a sign that brings you on a wooden bridge to the bog that you turn to the left and to the right there is a bench that you can sit by on the lake... The fishing is mostly Bass Dogs are welcome but not in the swim area They have a beautiful boat launch for the dogs to swim at...keep em chained Also the beach is buoyed off and not very deep so it's good for children and a little easier to rest as a parent. Be sure to bring bikes if you have children they love riding around the campgrounds. The sky at night is beyond beautiful and you must sleep there to actually experience this place Happy and safe travels to all!!!! The locals are very friendly I recommend the shell nearest to it for supplies if needed.
