One of our favorite places in the area. They are so good they al.ost seem too good for such a small town. Great menu and everything we have had there was cooked to perfection (kudos to the chef). Full bar and live music. Dining is outside, under cover, and closed in when it's chilly. What's not to love! If you haven't, you must try this place. Just be sure to leave a table for us.

Went for lunch, it is the off season, they were out of our first choice. The owner/chef/server was great. Incredibly nice and accommodating. Party of 7, one a 92 year old grouch!

My wife and I were relocating our boat from Chicago to Pickwick lake and, by virtue of the current outflows from the Pickwick Dam, we were in serious need of diesel. I called and asked if they had diesel since some marinas don’t carry it, and many were out on the trip down. The woman let me know they had plenty and to stop in. When I let her know we were in a 60’ boat she let me know that they had a 60’ boat on the gas dock but she would move things around in order to accommodate our fuel needs. When we arrived, good to her word, the dock was open and we fueled up. Since it was getting late she offered us a transient spot on the fuel dock for the night, which we gladly accepted. One we were situated, tied and fueled up, we went to the cafe for drinks and dinner. We were told that they were short staffed, like almost every other business in the country right now, and that it might take a little longer for our food. We were in no hurry. We ordered and everything came out very quickly and the food was great! We really like the blue cheese burger and the pizza rolls. We will be making a point to stop here on the way back up but next time and we will stay for two days. To the owners and staff, since we left at daybreak and didn’t get to say it while we were there, thank you very much!
