Super relaxing great spot most of the spots along the lake fill up quick but still other good spots around the corner. They had firewood on site.

Bathrooms were clean and well stocked, free firewood available for use in the park, and water is available from spigots in the park. We tent camped for 2 nights, so we stayed inside the tent enclosure with the electric bear fence. This fence was put in place due to a history of grizzly bear/human interactions within the park, and prior to the fence's erection tent camping was often prohibited as this area is a prime feeding ground for bears in the late summer/early fall. I had never seen a campground with a bear fence and though we didn't encounter any grizzlies during our stay, I actually really liked that the fence was there, it gave us peace of mind for ourselves and our dogs. Fire pits and picnic tables are available just outside the fence, as well as bear proof lockers for food storage if you don't have a car. Even though there is a fence, keep your site clean, keep food locked in the car or lockers and clean your cooking area well after eating. The area is beautiful with multiple trails nearby, and on the second night we even got a little show from the Aurora Borealis while we watched from the beach. Highly recommend this campground if you're heading up to the Destruction Bay/Burwash Landing area.

This campground was an answer to prayer after a super long day of driving. It was pitch black and we were nervous to camp in the wilderness, but there was an ELECTRIC BEAR FENCE area for tent campers! Talk about a piece of mind! And we woke up to a beautiful view of the water. Restrooms were clean too. Definitely a delightful experience!
