Crooked Creek Rec Area
Crooked Creek Recreation Area is a public recreation area located in Ville Platte, Louisiana. Parish run camp grounds. Full hooks offered, also short term sites. Cabins, tents, pavilions, fishing. No wifi.

Very beautiful and a good place to ride boats. The only thing is the showers gave me diseases and I barely got over them thank the Lord I got over them

I have stayed here many times before and enjoyed it very much. The park is fun to bike ride in and the scenery is very nice. On our recent stay there were several campers playing their music really loud. There was one such camper about 80 yards away. We asked them politely to turn down their music. They did the first night, but the second night, they cranked it up. Some of the party members passed by and shouted obscenities at us. After contacting the administrator and informing him of what took place, we were left with feeling like he basically said, I’m sorry it happened, you don’t know what you’re talking about, deal with it. So, prepare for loud music if you go there.
