My entire family use to go there in the 80s and would take all the sites by the beach/ pavilion and have are boat right there. We would some times leave the motor home there all summer and come down on the weekend from Jersey. Anyone remember us?🙏🇺🇸🦅⚓️✌️

When I first arrived I was horrified. Looks like a dump. However once settled in, I realized it is a campground not a resort. I think I have been spoiled. Spoke to another camper she said it was recently sold and new owners are working to improve. The electric was all new. The site was level for the most part. Like any campground that allows seasonal or full time campers it starts to look a tad trashy however I have seen some that restrict some of what I saw which could help improve the looks, like no tarps draped over numerous items or make shift rooms. I feel if you need all the stuff you have outside camp style living May not be for you. Some were very well kept. There is absolutely no cell service and no one on grounds if there was an emergency after the store was closed or we were not told of any . This was a little concerning . I think with some investment this could be a nice place. The sunset was beautiful.

In the early 90s three members of my family including myself my father had permanent sites at duck neck campgrounds.Everyone was neighborly it was one of the best times

Just cause it’s on the water doesn’t mean it’s a nice campground. The sites are insanely too close. Literally uncomfortably too close our awning was dam near touching our neighbors camper . The electric and sewer hook up was on driver side as usual but the water hook up was on the passenger which wasn’t huge deal but just seemed weird. The pool and store were nice and the dock on the river was great. But the firewood they sold was soaked. This campground was just not the experience we thought we were going to have.
