1 star for being close to Zion entrance but check in wasn’t pleasant and not your typical intro. Cost a bit too much for no showers and laundry onsite. Blah

We tried to go to Zion last year but Covid had everything all turned upside down! You had to have reservations for the shuttle and everything was booked! This year it was easy, we were able to take our car in, I think it’s $35 per vehicle but we had an annual pass and just skated right in. It was really pretty and a beautiful day to drive through the park. We didn’t stop and hike any trails, we just drove to the top and went through the tunnel and drove back down.

The park has the three most important assets you can have: Location, location, location. It is at the end of the entrance road to Zion on the east. The park appears to be relatively new. It was, and the rest still is, a parking area for a fuel? business nd is across the street from the gas station/trading post that owns the property. They put down a nice thick layer of large size gravel over the whole RV area. It is not dusty like so much gravel in RV parks. The hook- ups are new. The sites are level but tight. We did have trouble positioning our coach around boulders they placed to protect the electric and water such that we could open our basement doors, but with a little work we succeeded. There are some rusty things in the rest of the parking area (not in the RV section), but above them are views of the red rock. They have full hook-ups including 50amp but no bathroom facilities. The red rocks are your playground, not the RV park. It is very clean.
