Enfield / Rocky Mount KOA Journey

Perfectly located along the I-95 corridor halfway between New York and Florida! We are the only KOA located between Richmond VA, and Lumberton NC along I-95.

Conveniently located halfway between New York and Florida, this rural, peaceful campground is nestled among cotton, tobacco and peanut fields. Just off I-95, it's the perfect place to stop, unplug, and relax for a night or the weekend. While we are not a destination campground, we are the perfect overnight or quiet weekend campground. The campground is close to several historic sites in nearby Halifax, and it is the KOA closest to Raleigh. You're also about 2 1/2 hours from Virginia Beach or Cape Hatteras and the Outer Banks. You'll find plenty of activities to the north in Roanoke Rapids or to the south in Rocky Mount. Both are only a short 20-minute drive away. Max pull thru: 60 feet. Your host: The Ashwood family.

Your dogs will enjoy a large, fenced pet area at our KOA. We offer RV sites and  primitive tent sites . You're sure to have a relaxing time!

This place really is a hidden gem for travellers along 95. Perfect distance away from the interstate with full hookup pull through sites. Everything was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely be stopping here again!!

It's a decent place for an overnight stay. Nice bathhouse, playground, pool, and dog park. Stopped on our way to Fl for an afterhours check in. Lucky there was a spot for us. Stopped on our way back and they were full.

Very friendly and welcoming. Well laid out sites, very clean washrooms and showers. Far enough from I95 that you can't hear road noise. Highly recommend.

Great experience again. We stay here as a regular stop when camping along or through this part of the country. 2/22 we went through on our way south from PA and again 4/22 returning from two months in Florida. The staff is way easy to get along with, accommodating, friendly and engaging. Our site doesn't vary much - maintained gravel drives, pull through and adequate hookups. Never tried the pool or bathhouse. Our dog enjoys her areas. Nothing over the top fancy but value well received. Handy to travel and easy to be with meets our needs! Recommend.

Quick efficient check-in. Neat and tidy sites. I had a lovely hot shower with excellent water pressure. Quiet. Easy on off to route 95. I would definitely stay again if I was traveling through.
