Fort Frederick

Fort Frederick Big Pool is a historic fort located in Big Pool, Maryland. It was built in 1756 by the British during the French and Indian War. The fort was named after Frederick Calvert, 6th Baron Baltimore. The fort was used as a supply depot and staging area for British troops during the war.
