HVO is one of our favorite places to camp. The RV park has all the amenities we love. Great owner- Gary, manager- Matt, and camp hosts who go out of their way to make your stay pleasant and enjoyable. We love the added safety features at night that helps keep this campground among the best of the best. This place is the cream of the crop.

Stayed here for 2 nights over Halloween weekend. This place has changed since 1st time we came about 5 years ago. Sites are level with picnic tables and fire ring. The camp store is equipped with everything you need. Halloween is an absolutely great experience here for entire family.

Very nice place! Has large RV area as well as a large"camping" area. Both have river access. The camp store is very nice and well stocked. The kids will love it with play grounds, basketball court, volleyball, disc golf and river swimming. There are multiple water features. The place is well maintained and clean. The only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars is they don't have any secluded camp sites in the woods, but what they do, they do well! Wish I could give them 5&3/4.

This place is beautiful! Concrete, level pads. Over flow parking if you have an extra vehicle. They have a playground for the kids if you aren't playing in the river. There's a pavilion if you are with a larger group. They also have rentals (kayaks, rafts, and canoes). **Only one caution** If you come after hours, pull into the store parking lot. The road to the campsites are through the parking lot. If you try to use the outside road, you will be taking a 25 minute, gravel road detour to turn around. Don't trust Google Maps on the quicker turnaround!! Go back to Hwy 64. You can't make the turn in the first "turnaround" and it's not really a public road anyway. Trust me.
