My wife and I stayed 3 nights while exploring the Berkshire area. This is one of the most unusual campgrounds we have stayed at. The roads into and around the campground are in rough shape. The sites are oddly laid out and the hookups somtimes difficult to access. For example, our lakeside site was difficult to back in to and was configured to put our trailer door facing away from the lake. And we had to run our electric cord and hose quite a ways to hook up. But....we loved it. Our site was spacious, beautiful and peaceful. The staff was friendly, the restrooms were nice, and it was a very pleasant stay. One note-if you have an RV or trailer, enter via Kemp St rather than Bradley and avoid the wicked hill on Bradley.

Still love this state sponsored family run campground. Scenic well laid out spots with ample natural activies. A stone's throw from the hub of restaurants and downtown yet quiet and natural. Excellent combination.
