Horseshoe Bend

Horseshoe Bend is a small unincorporated community located in Coulterville, California. It is situated in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, about 25 miles east of Mariposa. The area is known for its scenic beauty, with rolling hills, oak trees, and a picturesque bend in the Merced River. The area is popular for camping, fishing, and hiking. There are several campgrounds in the area, as well as a few restaurants and stores. The nearby town of Coulterville is home to a few historic buildings, including the Coulterville Hotel, which was built in 1851.
