Not many sites have shade; but lots of nice flat camping pads, very clean and well maintained. Very quiet with great night time views. Very close to the Twin Lakes without the crowded conditions and uneven site pads of theLower Twin Lakes campground

Not much shade on any campsites but the creek was fun and refreshing. We used this as basecamp to visit Bodie and it was only a 45 minute drive.

Beautiful RV campsite below rugged mountains and Lower Twin Lakes. Less trees than the campsite next to the river, but No bugs. RV sites have no hookups, no shower's at the site, however coin shower's are 4 minutes away. Twin Lakes Resort has boats and a great general store nearby. Water was only 7' below normal, fishing only. Upper lake was full.

Very nice campground with shade near a creek. The bathrooms are the best! They were always clean, indoor with flushing toilets, a sink, and lights that turn on automatically.
