While I love this place, I have enjoyed it almost 20 years, it is now a small overcrowded loud dirty city. No longer enjoyable for hikes, bird watching, critter watching, swimming or kayaking unless you like kids running wild darting in and out of campsites, tonight one 10 ish yr old held onto the bumper of my truck driving thru the primitive area, while parents watched!!! Social Media, lack of manners, discipline and lack of respect to others always destroy the great 'off the beaten path' type of places I so enjoyed.

This is a good area to do some off trail exploring. I hunt here during the winter and do some fishing during the summer. The area has many access points and is pretty low traffic.

Great property for all kinds of activities, be sure you do your own research about laws, the office people are exactly that, and people don’t always know all of the laws.
