J. Strom Thurmond Lake - COE/Ridge Road
J Strom Thurmond Lake, also known as Clarks Hill Lake, is a reservoir located along the Georgia-South Carolina border. It is the largest lake in the state of Georgia and is named after the late U.S. Senator Strom Thurmond. The lake is fed by the Savannah, Broad, and Little Rivers and is managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Coe Ridge Road is a scenic road that runs along the lake's shoreline in Appling, Georgia. The road offers stunning views of the lake and is a popular spot for fishing, boating, and other outdoor activities.

This camp ground is phenomenal. It's so clean and clear compared to previous years. The volunteers Tina, Al, and Pat really take good care of the campground. 10/10 would recommend.
