It is like a Canadian moonscape. Last winter they cut down the beetle killed trees, which left very few trees except in one area. Similar to Wapiti and Whistlers. They also left foot tall stumps. They are very restrictive. Quiet time 2300 to 0700, that's fine. No campfire past 2200. Generator use restricted to two 2 hour periods during the day. They make irregular patrols to ensure you are biding by the rules.

Really great campground. We were in the tents only loop and right on the river. The views were amazing and it was wonderful to easily access the river and go walking and skipping rocks. Free firewood in a large pile. Flushing toilets. No showers unfortunately. Huge stalls with lots of privacy. Staff was very friendly. Very large campground. Some stalls up top looked wide open and close together so I probably wouldn't enjoy it there. Will definitely come back!

Clean bathrooms, easy checkin, quiet. Get a spot by the river and listen to the water all night.

Wabasso is always awesome! Staying in D loop with power. They have taken some trees down in this loop bit not as many as in other loops.
