I can't really say it was beautiful, it did not have enough water for anything yet and it was froze over so to me beautiful.

Sometimes fish. We took our dog for a long walk. She loves going to the campground. Lots of different smells and running off leash when nobody else is around. Even though it is closed for camping during the winter. Lots of people there for picnics. Some were in row boats enjoying the lake.

It looked like a scene from Disney pictures with tall trees. Although, I did not get a chance to camp here as I was visiting in December of 2021. For double site day camp area was $40. They have restrooms, fire pits, grills, amphitheater, fishing pier, picnic area. So, I think the area will be perfect for a family camp. I stayed there for couple of hours with my family to see a snowy day and lake. Most of the time it was just my family. No other person was present as it had snowed 6 inches previous night.

Nice spot with clean restrooms and drinking water. Can collect firewood or buy from the host. Somehow is in a rain shadow so even if surrounding areas are getting hammered it stays dry most of the time. Nice lake and flowers. A little quieter to the left (upon entry), further from the highway.
