Friendly and helpful host. Inexpensive($20/night) payment by drop-in envelop. Quiet. Beautiful. No running water tho.

Mathers camp was booked so we chose this place. Very glad we did. The campsites had plenty room between other sites. There are several elks that hang out in there. It is a short drive into the canyon. The days were a little hot but the nights got really cool and made for good rest.

Really well maintained campground super close to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon! Great but campsites and trees for hammock camping. Only complaint was that the facilities aren’t great. Bathroom toilets were great but there aren’t sinks for tooth brushing and washing hands. And no dish washing place or trash dumping. Could use those resources.

When we arrived at the campground, two of the friendliest people greeted us, and helped us retain a space quickly, and they were volunteers. I would recommend this camp ground, No hookups , dry camping only. But nice and very clean. Very well kept up.😉

Stayed in Group Site Loop A and the campground was way better than expected. The facilities were all clean, animal proof trash bins, a built in concrete fire pit and giant gazebo with a couple of camp grills made this experience. The camp staff was easy to work with and the entire campsite had lots of tree coverage. Loved my time here with the grand canyon really close!!
