Nice little campground with all the amenities! Sites were well kept and so were all of the facilities. We were driving through and it was the perfect place to stop a couple nights!

The campground was very well maintained and we loved our tent only site 141 where we stayed for two nights. This site was made better by being at the end of the road which avoids the noise of traffic passing by. The accommodations were great, but the 5 stars was earned from the hospitality of one of the staff members (for which I will always regret not knowing his name). We arrived late in the evening when the office was closed. There are many signs alerting you to the (very limited) office hours and to check in the next day if you arrive late. Early the next morning the site employee was making his rounds of the camp site and stopped to inquire with us regarding our arrival the night before. He asked us to stop by the office in a couple of hours during the opening time to receive our paperwork/hang tag for the car. Not the most convenient request as we had plans to leave the site for the day, but you make it work. Ten minutes later the gentleman arrived back at our site with all of the paperwork and said why don’t we just take care of this now. This act of outreach was impressive to me. Then, later in the evening he walked by our site while walking his dog and asked us how our day and going to the beach was. I continue to smile thinking how these gestures created such a welcoming environment. Thank you!

Large campsites. Beautiful lake. Swimming beach and marina close by. Definitely will be going back.
