This U.S. Army Corps of Engineers campground on Lake Lanier is spectacular for a number of reasons. First, the Corp really did an excellent job of designing the campground. The roads are asphalt, sites are spacious, level (concrete pads), relatively easy to get in and out of (may be difficult for 5vers or big rigs -- check first), well spaced from other sites, and have easy water/electric hook-ups. If this were a "commercial" campground with full hookups and fast wifi, they could charge double the price or more and I'd pay it gladly. There's a playground, beach, adequate extra vehicle parking and more. Very well-maintained, and the staff we met were great to interact with. Looking forward to returning!

First time at this campground. Had a great site with great view of the lake. Spacious and not on top of each other. Will definitely go back more !
