This is a really nice, clean, and quiet campground…the owner is super nice and helpful…sorry to see the bad reviews as he is only trying to keep it a nice and clean campground…we will definitely come back and spend some time on the nearby lake…🙂

I didn’t have a good experience at this place and after reading the reviews and seeing the owner trying to argue with everything shows me who the problem is with the place and it is him. I think anywhere he goes he’ll find himself unliked. He’s very uptight, is much a stickler on rules and if he finds one little piece of trash you’ll be fined, he reminds me a lot of that high school hall safety that takes his job way too seriously without cutting people a break, he doesn’t see the human element and errors as any excuse for anything so if you want to avoid getting mad here and hating the stay you may want to avoid breaking any rules or you’ll be fined. Oh yea but he fails to tell you to read the rules and just how seriously he takes them. The guy is a joke and a nerd, don’t camp here unless you’re a little nerd too

Nice spaced out sites. Level gravel site 16. Quiet country side near lake.

This place is a hidden gem! Very quiet campground, close to the lake and well maintained. All the sites have a gravel pad and with the help of the owner he will assist with getting you level and setup in no time. The owner puts on a concert on Saturday nights and it was really nice to open the windows and hear his music while eating dinner. We didn't get a chance to use the pool, playground, laundry room or the bath house so I can't report on those. He does offer a propane fill so that is very convenient. I was hesitant at first to make the reservations due to some of the other reviews that have been left but I am glad we did. The owner Jeff was very helpful and friendly throughout our stay here. We will definitely be back to this hidden gem of a campground close to out kids and grandkids.

We stayed there for a couple of nights and appears we brought some much needed rain! Campground is small with few opening for camping due to on site living but we had a nice site across from the office. There are many rules put out by the owner but to me none that affected me because I found them ok. It is not meant for young kids because there is very little room for active. The real highlight was the owner playing his brass instruments to music was a great treat. For those who understand, he has a great lip for the reeds. We enjoyed the music and variety of tunes! One hour was just not enough for us!! Camping is a family event to have fun and enjoy yourselves so if you just want to set back and relax, this is the place for you!
