Always a great hiking and day use area

Proper place for hiking and outdoor picnic. Walking through river area was funn part. Water was cold watch for kids. Pets enjoy too, they have lot of area to roam. Natural greenery at 360 degrees angle. Proper parking place. Normal visit can end up in staying from minutes to multiple hours.

This is a really nice spot for a quick get away! We stayed at one of the walk in tent sites, you get a designated parking stall and it's about 20-30meter walk to the campsite, this made the site nice and secluded with lots of trees. The campground is close to a river and a few different hikes, we were able to hike to powder face ridge and forget-me-not pond right from the campsite.

Love this campground. Beautiful area, good walking trails, near the river. No services, no cell phones. Real getaway-from-it-all back country. Camp hosts are very friendly & helpful.
