I cannot say enough about the Lost River Campground! I’ve been camping here for several years now with my family. Started off in a tent and now have a camper. For us, it’s such a perfect location. Out in the middle of nowhere (what it feels like) surrounded by the national forest, but still close enough to all the white mountains attractions. Lost river has some amazing river sites which we love cooling off in during our summer stays! The campground offers a lot for families with children of all ages. A nice playground, basketball court, game room and they try to provide lots of fun activities for everyone to join in on. Their nice little pond offers fishing and paddle boats. This by far is our favorite place in NH to camp. Even dog friendly! So if you’re looking for a great place to camp whether it be in a tent, cabin, or camper/RV with the family or just by yourself, I would highly recommend checking them out!

We made wonderful memories. The owners, Lisa and John, made it even more special. This is a family oriented, unique, awesome camping experience. Whether you tent, RV, cabins...doesn't matter, they have something for everyone. And the facilities are CLEAN :)

Bathrooms near the site did not work when we arrived. Strike 1! We used the showers in the office area. No cold water! Strike 2. Pay showers, ugh! When they opened bathrooms near the site those showers did not work either. Strike 3. Not well prepped for the holiday weekend. Sites were beautiful!

I go with my family almost every year and I love it so much. the dog rocky is the cutest thing and I see kids with him all the time. I feel at home every time I go there. I guess the new lights are cool, but I don't go out of my way to see them. There was a bouncy house there once and I was super confused. I always prefer the natural quiet stuff. The cabins, trees, river, tents, marshmallows, and the stars. seeing the bouncy house gave me whiplash mentally. Luckily, it's deep in the woods and not many people see it.

Fantastic campsite. Has a small trail that connects to a larger well maintained trail. The small store has pretty much everything you need if you forget anything.
