Mammoth Campground

The Third Perception

Bathrooms are very yucky and it is very expensive, however the demand of people wanting to camp exceeds the supply so mammoth has this dilemma of mediocre/poor campgrounds with not alot to choose from. Keep staying here because there are not many alternatives in the area. Not asking for much just clean bathrooms and showers, would get 5 stars if this is fixed

Ripoff Report - You end up paying close to $100 a night (full hookups) with a fee for this and a fee for that...

This place was nice. I went at the end of the season and there were lots of open spaces. The bathroom was nice an warm with a heat when I was really cold out.

Nice campground located at the edge of town but still has a remote feeling. It's close to restaurants and shopping. Large trees provide shade and sites are not too close together. There are clean restrooms with running water. The only thing I didn't like is the toilet bowl in the one by my campsite was very low and an older or handicap person would have trouble using it.

This place is epic. I married into a tradition of coming every year and it never fails to inspire and awe me. Of course, today is smoky as the whole state is on fire but it's still Heaven.
