The campground is very well maintained including the bathhouse, laundry and most sites are cement and spacious. It was quiet and camping neighbors were friendly. We felt that there was not much for our children to do in the actually campground itself—a playground would be a great addition with a little more kid friendly activities. However, if you’re looking to camp with friends cut loose and have a great time— this is perfect. Yes, while I understand that License to Snow is accessible to campground guest, we personally found it VERY expensive for 1 day admission. Had there been more people the day we went and the price we paid would have made for a huge disappointment! Being we went the weekend of Winter Storm Izzy, we are willing to check it out when the water park is opened. However, overall we just meh.

The sites are all concrete pads but they are super close and facing the wrong direction. When you back in, the grill and fire pit are on the wrong side of the trailer. The fire wood they want you to buy is wet and priced. There ice is not 7lbs and is expensive. The sites are easy to get into and setup on, but the accommodations are just OK. Bathhouse only has 1 shower per ~50 sites.

Very nice RV park which actually feels like a resort. Everything was clean and the section we were in was nice and wooded. I saw other reviews complain about the new section but I could find nothing to complain about. All the sites felt private and shaded. We had a nice view and all of the hook ups were great. We will definitely come back to this campground soon.

Great set up. Beautiful spots adjacent to the lake, the Lodge, and winter fun. Trip Advisor reviews were unnecessarily harsh. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and we'll be back. Lots to see and do.

Drove 12 hours to enjoy our family summer vacation and when we got there the water park was closed during the week. My 8 year was so disappointed. Our site was nice but I did pay more to have a lake view. The majority of the sites are not shaded and a little crowded as the sites are one on top of the other. We were also very disappointed to learn that once we got there we had to pay an additional $20 extra gate fee to get in to the resort. We found that ridiculous since the park is not cheap to begin with and the resort doesn’t even include or offer any amenities. Not even a pool for the entire resort for people to enjoy while the water park is closed. The capable channels they said they offered were not even working. They also only had one restaurant open in the facility which was not easy to access or recommended. Cheap food and expensive drinks. My family and I have stayed in many Margaritaville resorts in the past and it’s a shame that this place doesn’t even compare to any of the others. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!
