Park is nice, clean and mostly quiet. Wonderful staff, friendly, helpful, and courteous. However, if you have children be very careful. This park never enforces the speed limit. Vehicles will often travel more than 15 mph, some speed through much faster. No way can that stop in time should a child chase a ball into the road. They need far more speed bumps and the rangers need to start enforcing the 5 mph limit. Family enjoyment stops where the road begins.

Pounder Pounder

A great campground with great employees and rangers. The grounds are clean and the little secluded cove makes for great swimming for kids. Bring your Paddle boards, kayaks and inflatables. Bicycles and a walking route around mission bay for the more ambitious stay in shape campers. They will soon have a swimming pool for those that don't like salt water. Try it, you'll have fun

Visited to meet up with friends and stayed on to enjoy the area. While there we had a car problem and had to arrange to stay longer. Staff worked with us to add 4 days. No small feat in the middle of Spring break! Everyone who helped us was polite and friendly and managed to accommodate us without complaints. Thanks for the great customer service. Anita

Only gave this place 4 stats as we didn't actually stay here. Just drove thru to check it out. The place was very full however there were a few spots still open. They are all paved and seamed to be plenty wide. After seeing this place, we would like to try it out.
