The owner was extremely rude and drove up to our site, intoxicated, and just stared at our dogs leash, took him 5 minutes of staring for him to state that he had a problem with the way it was attached to the tree. You’re not allowed to bring your own firewood, but we couldn’t get ahold of anyone there to get firewood. Theres 15 amp at the sites… so good luck trying to use the microwave without blowing the breaker every 5 seconds. Then we took our kids to the run down park around noon and there was a man yelling at us because he thought we were staring at his trailer. And this is a guy that shouldn’t have been so close to a park, considering he was clearly under the influence of something. Honestly the absolute worst place I’ve ever been camping.

terrible place. very unfriendly, staff act like were a bother being there. would not recommend.

We were lucky to get a campground with the Calgary stampede in town. We had 2 tents and ended up at a site near the playground. Big mistake! Kids were playing on the playground until like 10:30 PM. They were super loud. The bathrooms are really old, so was the shower. It was a decent campground without bells and whistles. It’s close enough to Calgary.
