Roomy sites, clean bathroom, and friendly people.

Family-friendly campground with clean bathrooms & nice sites. We stayed a weekend, but would have happily stayed a week! Photos are from the short, but lovely loop trail that starts beside the campground's nature center.

Clean facilities, fresh water, hot showers, toilets, shady campsites, and absolutely ZERO CELL PHONE SERVICE IN THE CAMPGROUND AREA. Be prepared to head out to the main road to check your phone if needed. There are plenty of other things to do with hiking trails, a playground, kayak and canoes to rent, a boat launch, daily ranger programs, and the beautiful lake available right there. Has a handful of sites with power and water, the rest are primitive. Great place to wind down!

We had a great memorial weekend. The weather was gloomy but nice. People were friendly. The site we had was great, very spacious. No hook-ups, we filled water and used a generator. Worked well. The kids took there bikes and were gone and entertained all day. Easy in and out. We will definitely go back.
