Nice campground very popular. A lot of full time residents. The lake/river is right there. Thr activity center is nice. There were not many people there at all. Small playground. The place is quite full.

The location is very pretty. But there are two big hills to get to the sites and very few are full hookups. And 50 amp. The cell service is not great either which is more location than the campground.

Came here expecting a lot only to be let down quite a bit. We stayed at a lot of thousand trails in Texas and really enjoyed them. This park has next to no cell service, outdated facilities and terrible roads. Oh and you're at least an hour from anything worth going to. Total let down. We'd rather stay at the state parks that are close to it.

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!! This place has nothing to do with Natchez trace. They feed off of the park and just use the name. Place will let horses and other wild animals stay in the campground next to the camper. Not to mention it’s first come first serve. Don’t let them tell you you can get a spot you want such as a water front site. If you get there for your site that will likely have put someone else in that site. Came to the gate that was already open and watched the woman inside as I was about to wave at her and drive through let the gate down into my truck intentionally then deny that she had anything to do with it. Worst place ever I will not return. Also if your camper is over 11 tall you’ll have to plan your route as you are unable to get under thr bridges at the trace.

The surrounding area is beautiful, especially now with the fall colors. Our problem was that there really weren't any trails to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We wanted to get pictures of the fall colors reflecting off of the water but there wasn't any public access to the lake. The water spaces seemed to be all taken by permanent residents as were most of the sights with sewer. We ended up leaving after two days.
