Surrounded by over 58,000 acres of National Forest, we have anything your adventurous heart desires.

Deep in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, at the intersection of history, culture and natural beauty, you'll find the Natural Bridge KOA. Nestled between the Blue Ridge and Alleghany Mountain ranges and surrounded by over 58,000 acres of National Forest, we have anything your adventurous heart desires.

The magnitude and beauty of the Natural Bridge State Park, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, compels many visitors to come to the area. Surveyed by a young George Washington and once owned by Thomas Jefferson, the Bridge provides a unique, historic, picturesque and natural experience.

Lexington, just 8 miles north of the campground, has recently netted a big share of tourist interest as one of the best small towns in America. With its rich historical background and an entire downtown that is listed on the State and National register of Historic Places, Lexington has much to offer visitors year-round.

Back at the KOA, you can relax in a quiet, wooded, rural setting, nestled in the foothills of the valley. We have a swimming pool, game room and a well-stocked convenience store & gift shop. With planned activities most in-season Saturdays and every holiday, visitors of all ages are sure to have mountains of fun!

Looks like they are expanding their sites and areas. Our site was no fully completed. But overall a good experience.

Easy drive through site. Very clean. Escort took us to the site. Laundry facility was open 24/7 so we took advantage. Would definitely stay there again.

I have recently started camping again. The price of camp sites has really gone up since I used to go camping for $$20. However, this KOA campground is reasonably priced and has nice amenities such as laundry, showers, bathrooms, playground for kids and fenced dog park. They are close to the interstate but I didn't really hear and noise. It is convenient to Natural Bridge and there was a cider shop down the road. There is also a gas station on the corner where you turn into the campground. It was clean and people seemed friendly.

Spent the last month and a half traveling across the country and back. 6,800 miles. We’ve been at well over 30 RV Campgrounds and RV Resorts, at least 6 of which were KOA’s and this is one easily makes our Top 3 Favorites — out of ALL of them. Super friendly staff, even though we were running late. I’m bummed we only had one night here… Lots of amenities and activities that would’ve been fun to take advantage of. We ‘splurged’ for a site with a concrete patio which, with taxes/fees and the KOA discount, was $53. Clean, convenient, reasonably priced with lots of options at various price points. Could tell portions of the campgrounds were newly updated and that they’re continually investing in updates. Super dog friendly with a nice dog park and hiking trail. Conveniently right off I-81. Great stop between Tennessee and DC. Definitely coming back.

Very nice and cute campground! Staff was nice and helpful. Grounds well taken care of. $5 bundles of firewood were not only a great price but delivered to your site. Favorite part was the chickens and goats you could feed. So much fun!
