The City of Good Neighbors - Buffalo - is a short drive away and boasts interesting attractions: Albright Knox Art Gallery; Olmsted's Delaware Park; Frank Lloyd Wright's Darwin Martin House; see who's buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery; ride or stroll the bike paths along Niagara River or Great Lakes Seaway Trail. Explore Silo City and the Naval & Military Park on Buffalo's waterfront. Eat chicken wings at the place where it began - the Anchor Bar. Visit Father Baker Museum at Our Lady of Victory Basilica. Sports? Buffalo's got them; lacrosse, football, baseball, and hockey. Back at the KOA, fish at the two catch/release ponds; rent canoes, paddle boats and banana-bikes; enjoy the game room, basketball, playgrounds, pet playground and two pools (one heated). Located on radioactive hotspot on Grand Island. The amount of radioactive exposure here is above normal limits. Consider your health before coming here.

I stayed there in the past with the premium spot and loved it and now coming back this summer with 2 other couples and they also are renting a space.

The koa on grand island is a fantastic place to stay. The personal are so kind and friendly. I really cannot say enough good things about them. Its obvious they enjoy what they do Nd really want families to enjoy their stay.. The grounds are clean, there is a ton to do. We stayed in a cabin and it was very clean, super convenient, and came with tons of amenities that really allowed us to relax and enjoy. We will definitely be coming back.
