Update after our stay (now 4 stars): It is a nice place to camp. Good location to beach and easy access off Route 6. Spots are a little close together or close to the 'roads' in the campground... I wish there was more seclusion. With the lack of options around and the positives of this place, we will camp here again in 2022. Quick and easy positives - 1) The bathrooms were clean, 2) The showers were hot, 3) The store was stocked with reasonable hours, 4) It was very, very quiet here, which we appreciated and needed after long days on the beach. That sun tires you out! Cons - 1) The original response by the owner or manger to my first review, which has now been modified. 2) Bathroom hours could be a little better! 7am-11pm would be great. 3) Paying to shower in quarters, but whatever I guess! 4) My partner checked in before I did (we had to drive separately from separate locations) and secured the rest of the payment. He mentioned that I had not arrived yet. The person checking him out charged us an extra fee for an additional vehicle, which fit at our site; he did not mention this extra fee to my spouse, but I noticed it on the receipt. It would have been good to clarify this before charging us. When we checked out the website afterwards, we noticed the $15/night fee for an extra vehicle under "Rates & Hours" but wish this was relayed to us upon payment or in the confirmation email. Not a deal-breaker, though! Update to owner's response (2 star): I check my email daily, including spam, so the campground's response was not missed. After the original review I left below, I received an email confirmation the next morning which I appreciate. The person who sent the confirmation email did apologize for the slow reply. We look forward to giving them a chance in August 2021 and will update the review after our visit! Original response (1 star): After such great reviews and website information, we were thrilled to find this place. However, now over a month after attempting to book, I have tried multiple ways and times to make and confirm my reservation request (online reservation, email, and phone). After trying to make the reservation online, I did not receive any sort of feedback by email or phone call in regards to whether our request was approved or denied; there should be some sort of automated email response confirming they received the request and will respond within x number of days/weeks. And I have checked my spam. I have tried since making the reservation for a month to contact them with no avail. I know this is their off season but their voicemail only said that it would take them a little while longer to get back. It's been over a month now and I'd really like to stay there but need to book elsewhere so I dont miss out on getting a place at all. If you've ever tried to stay at the Cape during August, you know how tough it can be! I am so disappointed. I hope the owners are OK or this is some sort of big mix up.

I’ve been very fortunate to come up to North of Highland to say with my in-laws for the last 6 years. It’s a fantastic campground in an amazing area where you’d never be so fortunate to stay so close to the beach or Provincetown. They do a great job ensuring a safe and relaxing experience for all guests. Highly recommend to others.

I've been going to this camp for almost my entire life. Its very quiet and peaceful, plus it's very close to the public and state parks. The ultilities are good, and I like how they have billiards and ping pong

This is one of the best campgrounds I’ve experienced. They were very accommodating when our arrival was delayed into the night. The pine forest is very beautiful, far enough off the main road, we could only hear the wind and the ocean. All of the facilities were perfectly clean and stocked. The showers had great pressure and hot water! We’re perfectly happy to pay (a few quarters) for 5 star facilities. We look forward to staying here again!
