Cabin main area excellent, bathroom was bad. Views from bluff cabins are incredible, breakfast table in cabin, mini-kitchen, REAL wood burning stove (for heat and/or fireplace like feed), comfy beds. Now the bad: the bathroom was DARK, one dim light barely illuminates the shower, and does not provide light near the bathroom sink. Shower water flow was very slow, took 5x as long to shower. Good toiletries in bathroom though. Price was a bit high, especially for having this dungeon like bathroom but other than that the cabin was nice. 4/5 stars because my bathroom time is very minimal, spent more time admiring the view out the sliding glass window.

Like this place. However, if you cannot be cut from the digital world, this might not be good for you. I asked the waitress if they had WiFi, she simply said, "No. The only connection you will have is the nature and people you are with. " Even the T-Mobile signal is weak and out most of the time. It's very good to forget about the work during the vacation. Stayed in a cabin with a full kitchen. Very large living room. Nice beach to walk on with a beautiful sunset. On site restaurant is the only choice you have unless if you want to drive a long distance. I would suggest the on site restaurant which has very good food with reasonable prices. Front desk is also very helpful and very pleasant to chat with for all the questions we have. I would strongly recommend this place.

We did not stay overnight, but we learned that a room in the lodge is affordable. Maybe next time. We've stopped here twice over the years on our way to Ruby Beach and to the world's largest cedar tree. Kalaloch beach is just gorgeous. This time we bought lunch in the convenience store and shared it on a picnic table. We were on our way to Ruby Beach and didn't want to take the time for a restaurant meal. They have a good variety and good coffee. We microwaved a couple of burgers.

After being away for 23 years my recent stay at Kalaloch Lodge still delivered an amazing experience for my brother and me. The cabin we rented was comfortable and cozy. The wood burning stove made the place all that more rustic while the furnishing made it civilized. The service from everyone was friendly and enjoyable. Great crew here. The location you can’t beat with being perched above the ocean beach on the bluff. The ocean access is the best. I shall return.

Visiting the Kalaloch Lodge has always been an aspiration. When I was younger my family and I stayed at the camp grounds and always walked the beach and the cabins and the lodge always looked to be the coolest thing. Well, we finally stayed there and it lived up to our expectations. The cabins are wonderful, quaint and well stocked with great shampoo. We had a party of 6 and stayed in a two room cabin. My spouse and I slept on the pull out couch, while kids and grandparents got the beds. Everyone slept well. Waking up every morning to coffee and the Pacific Ocean was well worth it. The cabins are well stocked for cooking, and though its only a small sink, the view while you wash makes it go fast. Our cabin had a small stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave and COFFEE MAKER. The shower is a single, but the water was plenty warm. Extra towels and coffee filters are available at the front desk. The beach and camp ground are readily accessible with access to the beach via stairs, and a quick walk across the bridge gets you to the campground. There is "weak" cellular service for both Verizon and T-Mobile, enough to check email, but don't think you'll be streaming. Its a great place to unplug, see the ocean, play board games and just relax.
