I love Pearl Hill. Walk here every day. Spring, summer, autumn and winter. Peaceful, quiet and clean. Great trails.

Friends trail is nice and connects to Willard Brooke state forest for a longer hike.

I give it a 3 Star because the lake was closed otherwise I would have given it a five-star

We didn't get a chance to do either trail, but the park was very clean and very well kept. Both bathrooms were much nicer than I expected, recently remodeled, auto flush toilets. Ring road around the campground is paved and very nice. Dirt road within the ring leading to campsites is a little rough but you could take a car through it carefully. Very little underbrush around campsites, all very tall pines, leaving the campsites exposed and not private. Pick campsites 42 or 43 for best available space and privacy. Campground was very quiet by 9pm and I didn't hear another human til after 7am.
