We did not stay at the campground, only did a day trip tubing. The river was great, slow and steady most the way with the occasional rapids sections. The van that brought us to the river drop off site was a bit shoddy but made it there in one piece. The driver was great, very friendly and helpful. Highly suggest this as a nice day trip for anyone looking for mild adventure with a side of sun and water sports!

Stayed here for the entire season. My only complaint is that some of the sites are a bit loud due to the highway being so close. Bathrooms and showers are cleaned regularly. Quiet place, lots of seasonal residents.

Great experience staying on a river site. The site was large and literally right on the river. Sites are close together but typical for a campground. The owners and office people were so nice and friendly. The facilities were super clean and well maintained. I was really impressed with how clean the bathrooms are. My only complaint is that the highway almost goes over the campground. I hear less traffic at home than I did there but overall it was still a great experience in a beautiful location and I'd totally stay there again

The bathrooms were exceptionally clean. The river access was very nice. For those reasons, it was a decent campground; however, I would not go again. The campground's speed limit is 5 mph (which is reasonable considering the amount of foot traffic at the site), but the campground's security - without an actual way to measure speed - stopped me and members of my party every time we entered or exited the campground even though we were abiding by the speed limit - going so far as to walk up to my car, slam his hand on my windshield, and mutter something derogatory about me under his breath. This was in addition to stopping by our campsite twice to speak to us about campground rules that we were already abiding by. Suffice it to say, this campground didn't seem super welcoming or inviting to non-permanent campers.

If you can get a site on the River it’s the best in my opinion. I’ve been coming here for years and this year was great except for the owners literally stopping by every site several times like the police and asking for donations for veterans. We go here to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Not for the campground police to bother us about tags on cars, or inspect how many people. I get it at night to keep noise down and I understand there are rules but why bother those who aren’t an issue. Day 2-5’weren’t bad but the first day was horrible.
