Did not plan on stopping but I-10 closed due to a major wreck. The staff here was extremely friendly and helpful. Just stayed the one night, enjoyed the pool, and would definitely stay there again. On the downside, there did seem to be a lot of flies, probably due to the horses next door.

Very nice campground. Friendly staff escorted us to our site. Spacious sites are crushed stone with picnic table. Some sites have concrete patios and even individual dog pens. We had no trouble getting level. All utilities worked as expected. Good WiFi signal. Good T-mobile signal. Wide roads are crushed stone and easy to navigate in any size rig. The park is nicely landscaped with trees, shrubs and cactus. Everything is very well maintained. Good signage from the highway. We were only here for one night, but would have been happy to stay longer.

Always skeptical about staying at a journey. This one was the best journey we have stayed at. Friendly staff. Park was so neat and tidy. Lots of updated sites. Lovely to see some eucalyptus trees! We loved our stay and will definitely be back

November 2021 we had the pleasure of being stranded here an entire month due to a truck "accident" while we were waiting for parts. Management (owners) are a lovely couple with a family that take customer service to a whole new level! This by far was the best KOA we've stayed at during a time of duress as site, location, availability and obviously customer service were impeccable during our unexpected detour. Horse stables adjacent make for ranch like environment with pecan tree farms leading up to the park. Would recommend for all ages at any given time!

This is a very nice campground. The sites are spacious and the little patio we had with our site was very cool. Everything was well maintained and the park is kept very clean. Last but most important, the staff is incredibly friendly here - everyone did their job with a smile. A very well run campground, we will definitely be back.
