New seasonal here. I can't say enough good things about the staff. You contact them about any issue and they are right there. Had an electrical problem and they came right down to correct situation.

Not the best spot for rent camping. It is primarily an rv campground and attracts a certain type of clientele. We had fun though and it was perfect for a last minute camping getaway. We loved walking around and seeing how creative people get with jazzing up their trailers.

I love Rusnik Campground! It is conveniently located to area beaches, has a Market Basket right down the road and a very large shopping mall is also nearby. The campground is maintained with pride and the pool is expertly maintained with crystal clear water. The individual campsites are nice, most with shrubberies and such between them for a bit of privacy. It is dog friendly but all animals must be leashed. Bath houses are clean. Staff is super helpful, informative and supportive. The quiet hours are enforced which is also helpful for families with small children.

First of all, the location is, generally, excellent. It is convenient to Salisbury, Newburyport, and Hampton Beach. We were coming in via highway, and access to 95 and 495 is quite convenient. Also, most all staff with whom we interacted were no worse than cordial (a marked difference from local competitors). That’s all good. We were tenting. Our site was RIGHT on US 1, which is essentially a highway. Trucks, cars, blaring music, police cars, all night. The back of our site? An old stockade fence bordering someone’s backyard (seriously). And one of our neighbors were shooting off fireworks at 11pm. Loudly. The sad part is outside of THAT, and a few seasonal folks clearly blowing through the quiet hour rules, it was noticeably quiet and peaceful, overall. We looked around and said ok, would we come back? Not to that loop, ever. But portions of the rest of the property border attractive, real woods. But it’s very crowded, and overwhelmingly seasonal/rv. We felt like we were in a mobile home park. Lots of “residents” have (nice) boats, even ones that look quasi professional (we observed lobster pots). At 5-6am, they come down the gravel access roads, which mean we were awaken each morning at 5am, like it or not. We’re quiet, professional folks. Our particular neighbor took to glaring at us because he didn't like us tossing a football on our site (he was a seasonal). It was odd. Sorry buddy, we’re not hurting you, so go back inside to your big screen tv and ac. On the other side, they’d hung bird feeders on the edge of their site. Which was right behind our tent. If the fishermen don't wake ya, the squirrels and chipmunks fighting over breakfast surely will. They had an old, but cute game room, with a book exchange which was nice. The pool was small, dirty, crowded, and dangerous; there were kids running and diving in, including over other users, despite clear signs prohibiting such behavior. There are other nice family features such as a little mini golf course and horseshoe pits. Would we go back? Maybe. Absolutely not on a US1 site, not for free. That was absurd (though note: the site was large, flat, and clean). But one of the back sites? Maybe. There’s one local campground we use which IMO is clearly better; they were booked. The others are better at this or that, but end of the day are all kind of variations of “same.”
