We had a Great time here trails to walk and a nice location. They close for the season in 1 week. There is a stream nearby that is good for fishing or serene enough for relaxing and dipping in your toes.

I just came back from jacks creek, first time camping with a pop up trailer and i have to say it, best place to camp, host was super nice, i forgot his name (ask him aboit the bear joke) but definatelly im going back to the same place, restrooms are the cleanest in whole pecos by far … its just a small piece of heaven on earth!!

Wonderful! Peaceful! Clean! The hosts are at the head of their class! Pristine condition for such a busy place. This is a respected and respectable campground, one of the last ones to be found thanks to Mark and the crew of dedicated and appreciative people who TRUELY love the Pecos. Please keep this going by cleaning up after yourselves and supporting the rules. Enjoy!

Great family fun. Perfect spot to escape from the city for the weekend yet close enough to civilization in case you need to run back into town for something. Love the fact that they had fire pits, picnic tables, and public restroom nearby.

I stayed for 1 night. There are plenty of camping sites that will accommodate cars, trucks, vans, campers, travel trailers, and modest RV’s. No showers. Beautiful views. Bathrooms are mechanically vented but still vault (outhouse) toilets. Potable water is provided at several stations. 9000 feet elevation. It’s a lot more than just a group site or equestrian camp site. Lots of trails for hiking.
