Stanislaus/Deadman
Stanislaus Deadman Dardanelle is a small unincorporated community located in Yolo County, California. It is situated along the Stanislaus River, near the town of Dardanelle. The community is named after Stanislaus Deadman, a local rancher who settled in the area in the late 1800s. The area is known for its agricultural production, including walnuts, almonds, and other crops. It is also home to a variety of wildlife, including deer, wild turkeys, and other birds. The community is served by a post office and a few small businesses.

Beautiful campground. Kenny (the camp host) was very nice and informative. Walking distance to Kennedy Meadows Resort. Located by the river.

Beautiful spot, Make sure to bring sleeping bags that are very warm because it gets very very very cold at night and also make sure everything you bring us waterproof because the weather is so unpredictable we got stormed out and had to leave early when we already paid a $100 for the nights.

This is a really nice campground! They have about 18 spots and there’s no reservations, so you have to get there with the right timing and we were fortunate to get campsite right on the river, #2. Beautiful and relaxing, and if you don’t feel like cooking when you’re camping, you can go to the lodge at the Kennedy Meadows and have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Definitely recommend for fishing and a beautiful place to camp right on the Stanislaus River.
