I love Stone Mountain Campground don't get me wrong but, it needs some love. They appear to be working on it and upgrading things and I hope they keep moving on it. We stayed on the O loop which has not been rebuilt yet. The roads need to be repaired. The sites need to be reworked and leveled and smoothed out. The sites need to be cleaned and blown off. The bathroom and shower were clean but are older. Everything is usable and the view of the lake is spectacular. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The other I noticed is several of the other loops have full time campers. I can't believe they are all volunteers working here. I don't like parks where campgrounds allow long term camping. Maybe this is all from the crazy covid times but hopefully the park will get back on track and be the awesome park it was in the past. Please don't let my review keep you from coming to the park, it's still a great place to visit.

Everything about this place is fun and relaxing and beautiful!!! Everyone loved the Lazer show! Prices aren't that high either. Unless, u have a big family like ours! 😂 Thank you!!!Keep up the EXCELLENT CUSTOMER service 👍😌

Stayed at site 264. Right next to a drainage ditch. Not a terrible park but nothing to do for smaller kids. We’re used to sites a little bigger with some grass. Everyone was nice and pleasant to talk to. Probably won’t be back.

Second time staying and had an amazing time. The booking agent was helpful in securing a suitable spot for our 43’ toy hauler so we could comfortably use the back deck and the on-site staff were very courteous. It is a bit pricey but well worth it! Walking, hiking, biking, kayaking - all within a naturally beautiful setting. We hiked to the top of the mountain. There were all walks of life from old to young, fit and not-so-fit, all ethnicities, urging each other on...it was a truly rewarding and enjoyable experience.
