Amazing park, it really felt like a hidden gem. We tent camped and the primitive sites were located along a small brook. We watched a family of deer cross right next to us. The trails are awesome and the water is beautiful. Great family or couples retreat for a weekend. Bathrooms/showers could use some updating but all in all, a fantastic place to visit.

Tannehill holds a special place in my heart. My grandparents would sell their wares at trade days and my friends and I would spend the weekend roaming every inch of that place. I have such great memories. I love the way it's basically stayed the same all these years. It's something constant and beautiful in a sometimes ugly and ever changing world. It's very special to me.😌❤

Kid friendly. Love floating with the stream of the water. Hiking trails and bike trails were a good length. Train ride could have been longer but for $1 it was cool. The bigger fish were picky eaters.

Let me just say, it's so sad to hear this place lost government funding I'm sure because of it's confederate roots. Once I heard that I was HAPPY to pay to enter. This park was an absolute treasure and i very much enjoyed viewing and walking around all the old confederate iron buildings etc. I take my southern roots seriously and this is what it's all about. Thank you to everyone who works here and helps keep this place alive. So many people enjoying RV camping here made me very happy. 👌🏻
