Welcome to the Temecula / Vail Lake KOA!

Welcome to your ideal Southern California escape to nature with wide-open spaces to explore. Temecula/Vail Lake KOA sits on 385 acres of recreation space, featuring 467 campsites and more than 200 acres of world-class hiking and mountain bike trails. This KOA specializes in recreation, from little ones up through the teenage and adult years, with three sparkling swimming pools: a 25-meter lap pool, a kids' wading pool, and full-sized heated leisure swimming pool. We offer a variety of outdoor activity options on site, including horseshoe pits, disc golf, pickleball courts, newly refinished basketball courts, and a very popular 18 hole mini golf course. Families love our summer staffed recreation and Halloween celebrations. Groups love our facilities for hosting small festivals, mountain bike races and family reunions. Guests enjoy gathering in the campground's Vail Lake Village for meals and entertainment at the seasonal Cafe and Bar. Restock your supplies in the Village's newly remodeled store and gift shop. Relax in your campsite under our large, mature Oak trees that beautifully shade your campsites or try a new hotel-style Deluxe Cabin or Eco Tent accommodation, coming in 2022. Just 15-minutes to Temecula Valley Wineries and local area Casinos.

Live music, putt putt, 3 pools, a well stocked store, tent camping and RVs. Now on a busy weekend it is packed with RVs and it's essentially a neighborhood instead of camping but still lots of amenities so if you love RV trips then this place is a great choice, if you prefer camping in the woods and not seeing other people too often then this is not your place. I like it tho, perfect change of scenery for a quick car camping trip.

This Campground is fantastic! It has extremely large sites, free activities, paid crafts, mountain bike day trails, a Cafe and a store.. All areas were clean and nice, the staff was pleasant, friendly and helpful!! I tye dyed a tshirt for $15, so fun!! Love this place and will go back for all of this plus the scenery!!

I'd love to stay there but for some reason I can't book online and they never answer the phone. I hear it's a nice place but I really wouldn't know.

Site #331. Very large and very noisy KOA Campground. Large groups gathered at many campsites partying. The weekend we were there, modified golf carts with big speakers were driving around all day and night. Very dusty. Restrooms were OK. I don’t think we would ever camp here again. Not a good fit for us.

This place is very nice, plenty of fun things for kids and adults. Very big campground with lots of room to wander around and see birds, trees, and surrounding hills. Trails for bicycles and hiking.
