Make this KOA your headquarters to experience the natural beauty of nearby Lake Superior and the region's attractions. Go rockhounding at open-pit amethyst mines. Explore 130-foot Kakabeka Falls and Ouimet Canyon. Relive area history at Fort William Historical Park, a re-created 1815 trading post complete with costumed natives, trappers and traders. This KOA's 90 acres of spruce, birch and poplar shimmer with color in autumn. Sites are tucked in the trees and in wide-open sunshine. Families enjoy the driving range, mini golf, an outdoor shuffleboard court, two heated saltwater pools, splash pad and a catch-and-release trout pond. Hayrides, ice cream socials and other planned activities add to the fun in season. Pets are invited to the off-leash park. Shop the campground store for local amethyst gifts and jewelry.  Pool: June 1 - September 12. Max pull thru: 80 feet. Your hosts: the Kuper family.

We rented one of the cabins here and were very happy with the stay. Great amenities, including a pool, splash pad and nice playground. Very nice campground with beautiful views. There is a fair amount of noise from the road but it is also easy to find as it's not far off the highway. Great stay!

We loved it, great site and facility, easy access just off the highway. We took a pull through site with patio, firepit and BBQ, it was totally worth it! Enjoyed the quiet, well run park, plenty of activities for the whole family (heated pool, splash pad, shuffleboard, horseshoes, stocked fishing pond, space for biking). Was there on "Halloween weekend", tons of fun! Bathrooms spotless, great hot water and pressure in the showers. Coin laundry affordable and well organized. More than just a user, Kristie and team make you feel like a guest, part of the family! We are looking forward to returning soon!
